NYC Baby !

TB to these pics I took on my last trip to NYC which was three whole years ago!!! I absolutely love New York, I am such a city girl and I literally cannot wait to go back. Count down to my New York trip and I do have to say, other than the amazing restaurants and to-die-for attractions Im definitely looking forward to the shopping the most! Not gunna lie, my ideas of new york are definitely romanticized and over glamorized, but hey a girl can dream! I can't help feeling like its "The City of Wonders"! I am in dire need of a fun girls weekend to do it up big and soak up all of the richness, extravagance, and luxury New York has to offer. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself! New photography and OOTD's coming soon Dolls! xoxo

New Purchase & Makeup Storage

Was in the mall the other day, and stopped a fabulous stranger in her tracks to ask her, of all things, what was the color of the lipstick she was wearing. It was such a brilliant pink, I just had to know. I will forever be on the search for the perfect pink so when she told me I went straight to Sephora in the mall to buy it - no joke. It was a semi-matte lipstick by NARS in the color SCHIAP which was a little on the expensive side, however I felt the free NARS lip pencil samples justified the purchase. I will try to get a MOTD of it at some point but trust me when I say it is very fresh looking and such a vivid hue perfect for a bold statement lip. I am currently in the process of building up my makeup collection, being that I have gotten much more into makeup technique over the past year or so; a developing beauty enthusiast. Feel free to comment a must-have product below so I can be sure to check it out. Stay Fabulous! xoxo

THE. NEW. MILLENNIUM.

This past weekend I walked in The New Millennium Fashion show in Providence Rhode Island hosted and sponsored by The Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. This show was organized and run by an incredible team of talented, career-driven Johnson and Wales students who contribute 1000% of their heart and soul to every project. I would like to recognize the amazing directors that made this show possible, putting in many long hours and dedicating their time and attention to every detail that went into making the show a success; Abiah Floyd, and Dayna Hamer along with Aubree Dumas. They put on a great event and I was so grateful to be a part of it. This The event highlighted a diversified selection of scenes which showcased the various temperaments of Gatsby. The Clothing lines featured in the show were the likes of The Limited , Rare Realities , Blaac Tokyo , and Carmen and Ginger  and makeup was done by professionals from the Sephora makeup-artist team. The following photos are candid pictures from rehearsal, and behind the scenes & runway shots  I was able to snag from the day of the show, enjoy. - Stay Fabulous, xoxo

* New Smashbox: FULL EXPOSURE [Mini Palette]

Hello dolls,
Just bought the Smashbox Full Exposure mini palette from Sephora. Neutral brown and tan shades are my go to's for eye makeup because, of course, they complement every skin complexion and are tried and true colors to create any desired look. I have never used Smashbox before, but have heard positive product reviews on the eyeshadows. I got a mini palette to try out and see how I liked it. The colors included in the palette are gorgeous with 4 staple neutral shades and 4 shimmer shades. I love the quality of the shadows, my one and only critique would be the light pigmentation which takes a few layers for true-to-color application. You can mix and match the matte and shimmer shades to create a beautiful look weather it be an everyday wear, natural look or a dramatic night time smokey eye. If you love your tans and browns like I do, I definitely recommend picking it up. Leave a comment below if you love the Smashbox Full Exposure palette! Stay Fabulous.

Makeup Hack - Baby Shampoo as Brush Cleaner ?

So Ive seen this on a few beauty youtube channels and finally decided to try it. The recommendations I've seen suggested that using Johnson's Baby Shampoo as a brush cleaner would do wonders. Although I had slight skepticality, I purchased the CVS version of baby Shampoo (because it contains the same ingredients as Johnson's baby shampoo, but is a little bit less expensive), and was amazed and quite frankly thoroughly impressed by the results. Unfortunately I forgot that it would be a good idea to take a before photo before when trying it out, but I really was pleasantly surprised and more than happy with the results. The brushes were not only left squeaky clean, but it took just seconds and little exertion to do so; even the brushes with the most product on them took a minute AT THE MOST with just a few back and forth motions. On top of that the brushes dried extremely soft & fluffy and had a light refreshing scent. I without a doubt consider this to be a superior alternative to the more pricy brush cleaning products, because it gives you an impeccable clean and at the same time is so inexpensive. Definitely try it- you'll be glad you did! So hack away with this little tip, and always, Stay Fabulous.
