UPDATES!

Hello Lovelies!!! I apologize that I haven't posted in quite some time! I've been insanely busy juggling many new and exciting projects. As of recently I have become a contributor/Style Guru for CollegeFashionista.com. My articles will be released monthly starting next week, so keep up with me on Instagram and Twitter for even more fabulous! Also on that note - the latest and greatest: A  Lookbook. I will be co-directoring [and photographing] a street style lookbook for the fall along with the lovely Dayna Hamer and shot by the talented videographer Leeza Smith. Also onboard our executive team is the fabulous assistant director Mariah Hicks. Leeza has produced a video prior with over 400 views & counting and I have no doubt that, in her capable hands, her videography artistry will produce an amazing product that I am beyond looking forward to sharing with you all. Were still in the works, but I am ecstatic to be working alongside such creatively-intellectual individuals. Keep your eye out for that coming up sometime soon. I've been a busy bee, however I intend to get back on track with posting regularly again. More to come. As always,  have a Fab day!!! xoxo

New york Trip!

After looking through all the photos from my new york trip I realized that there was simply no way I would be able to fit all of My favorite shots in one post without it being ridiculously long.  I decided to break them down into separate posts, but nonetheless the trip was absolutely AMAZING. I stayed for three days and two nights with my family & close friends and we went EVERYWHERE and did EVERYTHING. We definitely went the conventional tourist route and packed as many different activities as we could into each day - The Empire State Building, The Botanical Gardens, Madame Tussauds wax museum,Times Square and Fifth Avenue to name a few. The Big apple is so inspiring! I can't help but return back feeling a revitalized passion for everything fashion and style! I apologize of the sub-par quality of the photos, unfortunately on the first night my DSLR camera broke :( however that did not stop me from getting some good shots Enjoy The Snapshots! Have a Fab day!!! xoxo

Casual OOTN from my dinner date last night at Cibo Matto with my best friend and fellow blogger Alexa Dumont. A modest Italian comfort food restaurant with charming interior decor and to-die-for chicken black bean quesadillas, who knew coming from an Italian restaurant???

Hooray for Boo Hoo

I recently made my very first purchase from Boo Hoo, a modest online retailer based out of the UK  which specializes in fast-fashion. A great thing about Boo Hoo is that they launch a new savings promotion each and every night at midnight - definitely works for a college girls budget and they had sooooo many cute things it was really hard for me to choose. Because this was my first time ordering from this site I opted only to make a small purchase just to feel it out. I wish I got more things because I LOVED THEM. The only "fault" I will call it - in the Boo Hoo process is the length of time I had to wait for my package to come in, but that was hardly a fault it is more of my impatience. It took about 8 or 9 days, but that was 8 or 9 days too long for me I couldn't wait to get my hands on that box. I got two items for just under $40 - with the deal of the day and a 15% student discount rate. I love them both - the quality was very high and the pieces looked EXACTLY as the quality expressed on the site I was actually amazed. My only recommendation would be to order at least a size up; whether the items are sized slightly on the smaller side, or intended to fit skin tight I ordered both of my dresses one size up out of caution and found them to be the perfect fit.

I got two dresses however I am only going to show one in this post because I plan to use the other dress in a an OOTD sometime soon ;). But I am absolutely IN LOVE with this white dress, it was the one I was anxiously awaiting more out of the two pieces I bought. It was originally priced $35 but with the cut rate it actually ended up averaging to about $19.07 .  I have nothing left to say - the dress speaks for itself . Simply Fabulous. Definately checkout Boo Hoo lovelies you won't regret it. xoxo

Styled in Rhode Island Fashion Show

Styled in Rhode Island

I apologize for such a delay on this post, being that the event passed quite a while ago, however I and been waiting to get my hands on  a few last photos from the show.

[The setup before the show]

The styled in Rhode Island fashion show was put on by the Johnson and Wales International Fashion Soceity. I have mentioned IFS before, and I will continue to because it really is such a n amazing institution that really could not be mentioned enough!  It was a fabulous event with a night packed full of enjoyment.  Local retail vendors came out to set up promotional booths and sell merchandise, there was a variety of raffle gift packages given away at the end of the night, as well as intermission entertainment. Another highlight of the show was the honor of the beautiful Avadora Mimouni who was featured to walk as the scene openers sporting show stoping garments from the Divas Palace ( a Rhode Island business) styled by store owner Michael. Avadora Mimouni is a Portuguese supermodel, actress, and singer who is constantly bustling around to a countless number of events on any given day so we were so grateful for the opportunity to have her in the show. Even with her prestige she really is such a gracious women. Please enjoy this photo recap of my experience in the show, I can't wait until next years! Stay Fabulous! xoxo
