Simple Summer Salad

My coworker always has the best nails! although these are on the simpler side for the nail work she typically gets done, they were definitely worth sharing because as always they look fabulous. A simple classic summer pink with a touch of glitter. This is definitely a go-to look for summer nails because anything bright looks really cute for a trip to the pool or a walk on the beach and the glitter catches very nicely in the sunlight. Summer Nails

Give yourself the perfect summer manicure by picking up your favorite -too bright, tone it down- neon shade and paint away! Neon nail polish is such a clean, bright, fun accent to add excitement to any simple summer outfit.

I was inspired by this pinterest pin [pictured below], so I interpreted it into a manicure using similar colors I had at home. Neon Nails really pop against any plain all black or all white outfit it looked fabulous and I got tons of complements.

I was unable to track down specifically what colors were used in the original picture, however I listed the colors I used for my summer manicure below the picture.  (a great tip I picked up for the best application of neon polishes is to apply a coat or two of a plain white polish as a base, it results in the color appearing its brightest.)

In the spirit of summer fashion I would like to share with you one of my all time favorite styling trends [an obsession frankly!] that is currently gaining popularity: two piece coordinating sets. I find them to be so glamorous because, not only are they simple and easy to throw on, but they are more than appropriate for every season and they come in many different fits to flatter all body types and any every color variety imaginable. The result; instant glamorous with hardly any effort. Pop on some heels, accessorize and your good to go! Definitely consider picking one up [or a few!] on your next online shopping spree.
