TB to these pics I took on my last trip to NYC which was three whole years ago!!! I absolutely love New York, I am such a city girl and I literally cannot wait to go back. Count down to my New York trip and I do have to say, other than the amazing restaurants and to-die-for attractions Im definitely looking forward to the shopping the most! Not gunna lie, my ideas of new york are definitely romanticized and over glamorized, but hey a girl can dream! I can't help feeling like its "The City of Wonders"! I am in dire need of a fun girls weekend to do it up big and soak up all of the richness, extravagance, and luxury New York has to offer. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself! Just Fab!

I recently signed up for justfab.com, an online retailer of trendy women's fashion and most emphatically for shoes [although Just Fab primarily accentuates their extensive shoe collections, the site also has a surprisingly large inventory of clothing, bags, and jewelry as well]. Sure Ive seen the commercials which I have to admit are quite entertaining, but they were never enough to actually reel me in to membership they,  however, enticed my sister. I watched month after month in awe of the delivery truck dropping off her magical pink boxes to our doorstep, always with a pair of drop-dead heels inside. After about the fourth pair I realized I was getting too excited from an indulgence  I myself reaped no benefit and it was only necessary that I get in on this too. And wa-la, here we are today!  The shipping did not take long and I ended up scoring a great deal on my first purchase with a "two for the price of one" introductory offer on top of a $10 off credit. So I got two pairs for only $29.99 with free shipping. I am so in love with both pairs and they are much more comfortable and better quality than I expected for that price. I apologize for such a delay on this post, being that the event passed quite a while ago, however I and been waiting to get my hands on  a few last photos from the show.

The styled in Rhode Island fashion show was put on by the Johnson and Wales International Fashion Soceity. I have mentioned IFS before, and I will continue to because it really is such a n amazing institution that really could not be mentioned enough!  It was a fabulous event with a night packed full of enjoyment.  Local retail vendors came out to set up promotional booths and sell merchandise, there was a variety of raffle gift packages given away at the end of the night, as well as intermission entertainment. Another highlight of the show was the honor of the beautiful Avadora Mimouni who was featured to walk as the scene openers sporting show stoping garments from the Divas Palace ( a Rhode Island business) styled by store owner Michael. Avadora Mimouni is a Portuguese supermodel, actress, and singer who is constantly bustling around to a countless number of events on any given day so we were so grateful for the opportunity to have her in the show. Look Book

I would like to take the opportunity to use this post to shine a spotlight on an absolutely flawless lookbook put together by the lovely Leeza Smith that I couldn't help but share. Its always nice to witness talent on the rise. Leeza's creativity is immaculate and her videography with its distinct angles, location selections, and background soundtracks, has such an eloquent touch. The styling in the video is a collaboration with the models who are [almost all] indecently fashion merchandising and retail marketing majors. This video consists of a complete collection of looks which serve to satisfy every trend channel. Its certainly worth mentioning that the pieces used are affordable for the college budget. Leeza describes her own personal style as comfortable and simplistic, and I might further add the adjective chic. Her outfits are incredibly simple but I am amazed that her fashion speaks such volumes and does so with such few pieces; fabulousity at its finest. I love the fact that she included herself in this video, because any person that truly is invested their brand will -literally- put their entire self into their project in order to put forward their best work possible. Other than her obvious expertise in videography, Leeza is also knowledgeable and passionate about photography (given) and makeup artistry. 

Keep an eye out for this one, one day you will catch her as the brand marketing manager of a cosmetics company or some other position of such stature.
