In todays fast paced society health concerns are becoming more and more prevelant. Its unfortunate that confidence and body image issues are related to physical appearance. The only point that I feel is genuinely worth emphasizing is, not the number on the scale or a foolish thigh gap - these are not methods of measuring health, it is to - simply- take care of yourself and your body by taking responsibility for your mental and physical health.
Theres never a point when it is "too late" to start living healthy, living healthy is not some kind of crazy diet or arduous excersize routine it is only understanding what your body needs to function at its best by doing whatever kind of eating and exercise habits that work best for you in your daily routine.
Many people see eating healthier specifically as an issue because it seems to require a bit more time and effort in selection and food preparation, however, this is actually a misconception. When you are versed on nutrition information is is quite easy to know which kinds of foods to look for and how to handle good-for-your-body recipes.
It is an excellent idea for the next time you go to the grocery store for your weekly shopping ritual to just buy a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables rather than a bag of chips or some popcorn for a snacking alternative. Because seriously there is no arguing that taking a container of blueberries out of your fridge requires exactly the same amount of energy as taking a box of pop tarts out of the pantry.
Real talk ladies stop making excuses and start making taking care of your body a priority, because after all you only get one. This doesn't mean not being able to treat yourself with your favorite specialty burger, or those to-die-for nachos at the local hole in the wall joint, but just be more conscious of your choices and try substituting and adding more nutritional options. It certainly takes hard work and willpower to change habits, that is not to be dismissed, however if you decide to make a change for the betterment of yourself both you and your doctor will feel apply about it. And a body that is more fit and that you may be more proud of is just an added bonus. What you put into your system will fuel your mood, give you more attentiveness and vitality in experiencing life, and increase overall feeling of happiness! Have a fabulous mind and fabulous body! xoxo
